In 2025, KAPRAIN investment group became the majority owner of FK Pardubice football club. In doing so, Kaprain is not only strengthening its support for sport, but also expanding its presence in Pardubice, where it has owned and developed the traditional Synthesia chemical works and, more recently, Synthesia Nitrocellulose since last year.
Founded in 2008, the club builds on the history of clubs that were active in Pardubice in previous years and decades.
At present, FK Pardubice uses four training and playing grounds. The main venue is the Pod Vinicí Stadium, while the youth teams are mostly based at the Ohrazenice sports complex. The Dolíček ground is also in use, and this is where the women’s and girls’ teams have been playing since their move from the Summer Stadium, which is currently undergoing renovation.
The club currently has three adult teams (men’s A-team, men’s B-team, women’s 2nd league team), five youth teams, six junior teams and eight youngest age-group teams.
